1101 W. Granville- B&R Developers

Greene and Proppe Design are the design architects working along with MDT Architects on a new six story, mixed- use building. The building will consist of 20 units and 3,000 square feet of potential restaurant space. The building will feature corner balconies, decorative colored glazed brick, and tile details, along with a dramatic flying parapet.

Gallery 1070- B&R Developers

Gallery 1070 is located on Granville Avenue in the Edgewater neighborhood. It is being developed by B & R Developers for the non for profit organization, Edgewater Artists In Motion. New awnings and windows will be added to the gallery's facade, and renovations to the interior into a community art gallery are being done.

Edgewater, Chicago


This existing site located at 1127 West Granville in Edgewater, will be the future home of the Chicago Mosaic School, as well as 10 residential units. Three community murals will be hung on the east side of the building, and can be seen from the street, as well as the CTA red line platform.

Andersonville, Chicago

Big Jones in Andersonville is looking to create a new, historical southern charm-like storefront. GPD has created a plan to give Big Jones a new entry design, new sign, along with new operable windows. Inside the restaurant, GPD has explored ideas to create a new booth area, and opening the existing Kitchen into the restaurant space.

Lincoln Square, Chicago

Renovations to this single family home include, creating a second floor rear addition, while renovating the kitchen, and the first floor layout to maximize the space. The exterior facade will also be recreated, with new second story windows and siding.

Lincoln Park, Chicago

GPD is in the process of recreating the decorative 1901 façade details of this home located in the Lincoln Park's historic district. The façade was totally renovated in the 1950's with all of the details being removed. With the original design being replicated by a previous owner, GPD will completely recreate the entire façade, details and siding, to become more historically correct.

Wrigleyville, Chicago

GPD is remodeling this condo located in Wrigleyville. The existing wall between the Kitchen and Living Room will be removed to open up the entire area. Both the Master and Guest Bathrooms will be remodeled to add counter space and new appliances.

Andersonville, Chicago

GPD will be designing a new Garden Office in the rear tree lot of the Gethsemane Garden Center. The new building will be much larger than the previous structure. The porch area, along with the columns and new color scheme will help create a classic look. The new interior plan will include more spacious office areas and conference rooms.

GPD is designing a new home on this property while utilizing the original foundation of the existing home as a separate guest house. The project includes a new garage, a wine cellar built into the hill, and new landscaping throughout.

GPD will be renovating this client's home located in Andersonville. This project will consist of opening the existing living room, adding a new glass staircase and new fireplace. A new master bathroom will be added to the second floor. GPD will also be restoring the existing front porch entryway.

Andersonville, Chicago

This fireplace renovation was requested to "dress up" the existing situation. The trims and finishes didn't have the visual importance or weight the clients desired--we designed the new wood surround with metal tile inlays, added an enlarged stone slab hearth and 3x3 tiles with a subtle, yet lively glaze. Finishing touches will include new textured wallcovering on the chimney breast above the mantle and

re-hanging of art...stay tuned for the completed look!
